The mix and pressing of this record is on par with some expensive audiophile records in my collection. On elevation of that, the trio plays fantastic. Pecker's playing is as real and emotional every bit any of his other records. A must have in my stance.

Y'all can really experience the sadness, pain, and unfortunate desperation of Pecker'south life coming to a head on every song of this album. One of the most eye breaking and melancholy albums of any genre with a virtually flawless recording clarity.

Cute record, so well mixed and mastered. An audiophile recording for sure, my NM copy is pressed on Quiex translucent vinyl. It is non advertised as such, would be Interested to know if anyone else's copy is as well…

Great pressing on this ane ! Sounds smooth and quiet with wonderful bass extension. MOV does cracking job on vinyl.

I don't know if information technology'south his best album, simply everything else frscottgerard is spot on. Great record, and well recorded. Lucky to get a clean copy today for a cadet........

Absolutely quiet in the serenity passages or between the tracks. No crackling, no static, rounded edge. All in all a very skillful quality. One of the all-time sounding records I have from MOV.

If yous cannot afford a quiet version on LP, get this CD version from 1990, mastered by Doug Sax. Perfect CD! The David Donnelly mastering of 2003 is good too with bonus tracks. Go along 1 in your motorcar. Flawless recording and mastering: Evans, Gomez & Zigmund at their best. Bill Evans saved the best for last, and that is saying a lot!

Perfect Jazz LP, Great Trio led by Bill Evans with Eddie Gomez and Eliot Zigmund. In my estimation, this is Evans all-time studio album. This is partly because of how well it was recorded and information technology is mastered at the Mastering Lab past Doug Sax: perfect perfect perfect sound!!! This review is for the original LP, just the original US CD is the best sounding CD i have. Get a quiet LP, it is totally worth it!

There are two masterings of this album. The 1st is by Doug Sax. The second is the remastered version past David Donnelly. Both versions vary greatly. David Donnelly's has more emphasis on the piano, where as Doug Sax emphasizes the iii instruments in a more egaliterian mode. Buy either the before CD'southward or Vinyl if y'all like Sax'south approach, and the 2003 CD if you prefer Donnelly's approach. The Donnelly CD has bonus tracks that the original anthology lacks. This is a great final anthology from a neat jazz pianist, who communicated and so well in Trio groups.

Pecker Evans touched the perfection with this amazing piece of work and at the aforementioned time he had exposed his inner sensitivity and his noble soul.
What an amazing audio and outstanding compositions. No homo is big enough to commend on this outstanding work. None other human can ever compose such pieces, non even close .
